Now that standing up to fast bowlers is a common thing you need extra protection for your hands. Choose the gloves with additional foam or PU padding. The gloves should have strong and flexible webbing to trap that flying ball. Find a glove with leather reinforcement on high-wearing areas of knuckles. Look for cotton lined wicket keeping gloves for added comfort.

One good option is high grip neoprene palm facing gloves which provide additional grip on the ball.

Another important thing to look for is the perfect “fit”. A glove that does not fit will cost you the extra run or the missed keeping change. Make sure to try the gloves before taking it to a cricket match.
